First competition entry

I decided to enter my first ever photography competition, with an entry into the travel photographer of the year awards (http://www.tpoty.com/2009/about.html). I chose to enter the New Talent category, which asked for a portfolio of 4 shots and a 300 word travel article to accompany. I entered using some shots from my recent visit to Las Bardenas Reales in Spain, with Oceancapture photography workshops. I really enjoyed the process of capturing the images, editing them and also writing the article which flowed to mind when I was sitting having breakfast at the end of the trip.
