I have just returned from a 3 week visit to China and Hong Kong. My first trip was a 9 day adventure from Beijing to Xi'an to Suzhou and finally Shanghai. It was a whirlwind with some great sightseeing and a few great photo opportunities along the way, including the Great Wall of China, an amazing structure. The second trip was based in the Guilin and Yangshou regions mainly along the Li River and provided dawn and dusk photo opportunities. What I didn't count on was the additional opportunities to photograph the people of China. I am still very hesitant on this front, but in some small ways I took a few more chances and I have included some people photos in my China portfolio. Feel free to let me know your comments.
