Intrepid Travel - travel photography

I attended a short talk on Tuesday night at the Intrepid Travel office in Angel, London. This was Steve Davey talking about travel photography. It is an interesting area, as earlier viewers will know, I previously named this site Travel Photography, but while I have been doing the travel and photography, what I am passionate about tends to be the landscapes rather than the people.

The trip to China started to convince me otherwise, especially having returned and seen some of the shots and remembereing some of the experiences. A very well travelled guy, Steve Davey had a very interesting and positive attitude to taking photos of people and the great benefits they can add to the travel photography experience. Maybe this is a genre I will re-discover or become more confident with in the future
